I have been an Independent Business Owner since 1998. I have developed a small at home business with the help of World Wide dreambuilders and Amway/now Quixtar. When I registered in this business I received ample information before I signed up. I attended seminars and reviewed the business compendium as to the rules and regulations. It is a money back guaranteed business and I would have recieved all my startup costs back except for some paper work expense. It's not get rich quick. It's a solid business, with mentorship. I am a better person because of it and I treat all those in business with me the same way. I wanted into this opportunity right away. If I had to wait 7 days to get started I would have been disappointed and would have not been able to talk to my friends and family immediately. That's what gives you hope. You see it work right away!! I understand people should be protected from scams, but this Quixtar business has character and integrity. I believe business of this type should be held to the same standards that Quixtar has met and exceeded. To subject new persons to negative information from x business folks who were unwilling to work, would be discouraging because people have a tendency to think if they couldn't do it, then maybe they would fail also. That would be a tragedy.Supplying personal financial records to people would not always be practical for a brand new person as they wouldn't have any...they're just getting started. Our business paperwork is adequate to show potential profit and averages. Each person is unique in this business. Changes must be made in their lives, time is needed to make this business work. Every business worth is salt has had litgation against it. That does not mean it's wrong or not a valid opportunity. To have to go back 10 years and list all litigation, proven or unproven is ridiculous! Where I live, if that was a requirement for using a business or a product, I wouldn't be using this computer, drinking my latte or driving my Ford. I agree that a level playing field is needed, but please don't make us play the game from left field!
