Thank you for reviewing trade rules and insuring our industry has best practices. My involvement with Quixtar has been the best business opportunity I have ever done. It has been six years and I have achieved the Platinum level and plan for Emerald level. I have learned more in six years through this business then 6 years of college plus 12 years in corporate environment. I have no problem in playing on a level playing field with the competition. But it appears that the rules that are being proposed will create unfair disadvantage for our business, The "7 Day Waiting Period”: I understood when I signed up in the business that there was no time limit; I could sign up when I chose to. If this rule is such a good thing then apply it in all other areas of commerce where serious financial decisions are made like buying a car, house, land or any brick and mortar business. The "Earnings Disclosure": I have no problem with this; please make it apply to ALL areas of employment. I would have been much better informed if I new what the salaries were of the people I was trying to get a job with. I could have better projected my income potential working for a corporation and kept my debt in check. The “Litigation Disclosure”: As an INDEPENDENT Business Owner I have no problem in disclosing any litigation pending on me or my business. I do not understand bearing the burden of other lawsuits I am no a part of. If it is a good rule, please make it apply to all other areas of commerce such as renting houses or apartments, or leasing cars etc. Thank you for taking the time to consider my opinions. My hope is that my business is treated fairly and non-partially when compared to all other businesses and commerce. Best Regards, James Halter
