FTC: Thank you for taking the time to hear my comments. The Quixtar business opportunity is the 3rd greatest event in my life next to my spiritual faith first, and my family second. This business idea covers all the bases to give a person a real quality of life in these 5 areas: faith, family, fitness, friends, and finances. I enrolled in this business idea in January 2000 and consider this one of the greatest learning & growing experiences of my life. Most people in the world only earn $ when they work; where this idea gives a person a opportunity to earn a 24/7 income that leads to a real quality of life. I wish to address several of the issues being proposed in the proposed ruling. The first issue is the proposed seven day waiting period for enrollment. This idea would be of no benefit to the government, independent business owner, or the prospect being shown the idea. One of the greatest moments of this idea is when you are shown the idea and one realizes the potential of this powerful idea. You want to start immediately and if you had a convention to go to within 7 days why wait? A 7 day wait would discourage the starting process of chasing one's dreams & goals. An employer is not required to wait 7 days if they want to hire immediately! 2. The proposal of providing references could be a real privacy risk as far as your name, address, phone # being given out without permission. There is a chance people would register with someone who did not make the time or effort to share the business idea with them. 3. The third proposal is the 10 year litigation list. I am not aware of any business in America where such a rediculous idea is required. This also would be a privacy violation and a attorney/client priveledge violation. 4. The fourth proposal is the income disclosure. We provide a document called a SA-4400 that gives income average for " active" Independent Business Owners and the potential for greater incomes if desired. Thank you again for hearing our comments. Please check out our rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). It will be to the benefit of all for these proposed rules to not go into effect. Thank you, Scott Williams
