I believe the onus is on the individual to investigate opportunities for themselves, prior to committing anything. The world we live in today has thousands of online scams that people are daily walking into without thinking twice as to any consequence. Making things seem easier for the unwitty consumer/person interested in earning quick cash, it will only increase the number of people who were once skeptical into believing that the opportunity is safe - thus creating an even larger problem.
