I became a Tastefully Simple independent consultant six years ago because I needed to help support my family and my family now depends on this income. I believe direct sales is an incredible opportunity, especially for women. I am very concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993 and the negative effect it could have on my Tastefully Simple direct sales business. I understand that you need to protect the public from scams, however, I believe this ruling will make it very difficult for me to sell Tastefully Simple products and help others start Tastefully Simple businesses of their own. I appreciate the work of the FTC to protect consumers but I know that there must be better alternatives out there to achieve the FTC's goals. Thank you for your time and for taking my comments into consideration.
