Comments:
I am definitely against this new proposed business opportunity rule. I have been an independent business owner for 3 yrs now and have been treated fairly the whole time. This opportunity is not a get rich quick scheme and takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears. When I registered to become a business owner I had all of the information necessary from the Quixtar website to make an informed decision. Before I sponsor someone into the business I give the website to do all of the information necessary to make a informed decision. These proposed rules would make my business all but impossible to expand. I work as an independent business owner and I don't have personal records of other independent owners to give out to a new prospect. I feel giving out other people's information would be futile because this business requires work and if you don't do the work necessary it doesn't matter what kind of information you get regarding previous independent business owner's successes. Success in this business or let alone any business is not guaranteed because it depends on the work ethic of the individual to get the job done. It seems to me that the people proposing these rules don't have an understanding of our business.
