I am concerned that there are sections of the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993 that may indeed make it very difficult to offer the business opportunity to others as well as sell products. It seems cumbersome to me, my new team members and to our company...unneccessarily so! We abide by the Direct Selling Association Guidelines for ethics. I promote that and love the freedom that our consultants feel when starting up a business that isn't bogged down in crazy corporate details. Direct selling is mostly for women - many of which are stay-at-home moms. This RULE seems like you don't want women to take advantage of a great and flexible opportunity offered in Direct Sales. Be careful with this rule - there can be unintended consequences with the wording as it is. I depend on my business to make ends meet in my house. Plus, to keep my skills up to par until I go back into the corporate world. Please consider my comments - thank you for your time.
