These types of laws are very much needed in our greedy society to protect the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of people who are victimized every year. The government needs to come down hard on those businesses that offer unsubstantiated claims of potential riches and prey on the people who can least afford it. In my opinion, any company that is based mostly on recruiting and little on product should be should be shut down by any means possible. Recently, two multilevel marketing scams have been pressuring the people in my area, Arbonne and Mona Vie. These companies make unsubstantiated claims about there products and earning potential. Recruiting is soley what these companies are interested in. The products are an afterthought. I do not have to tell you at the FTC the borderline legality of these companies. I am sure you know all about Arbonne and Mona Vie type scams and I am pleased you are taking steps to battle these companies. Recruiting based businesses need to be held responsible for thier words and actions. Please work to enact these rules as well as continuing to keep a watchful eye over this industry. It is time for you to stand up against these scams! Thank you.
