RE: Business Opportunity Rule R51193 To Whom It May Concern: Close to a year ago a friend introduced my husband and me to XanGo, a completely natural dietary supplement in a tasty juice. We started taking it daily and noticed several health benefits. I never intended to start a business with it; however, as I saw the benefits we received, I wanted some of our friends who had special health problems to try it and see if they would benefit by taking it. While I hope some day to make a little profit from it, I am presently "in the red" as I am supporting some of our friends whom we felt would benefit from it. We get extremely upset when we hear of scams, identity theft, and any way people are taken advantage of, so we understand your concern in the matter of the "Business Opportunity Rule, R511993." Several things in this Rule concern me, but one especially is of great concern. Providing some of the required data in this Rule would violate the privacy act that we personally are given every where we go. Sad to say, but we all know there are notorious people just waiting to steal identity. I have a personal friend whose identity was stolen--and what a mess! It takes years to recover. I have a widow lady friend who is in this type business, and this Rule would greatly affect her and her income. Since I have been with XanGo,LLC, they have always been credible, true to their word, and a model of efficiency, with a money-back guaranty of the product within thirty days. Any participant has the right to cancel at any time, for any reason. In our country we have had the policy that people are considered "innocent until proven guilty." Shouldn't it be that way with companies instead of making so many rules that make doing business a drugery? I respectfully request that you do not put into effect a rule that would affect law-abiding people who have a legitimate business opportunity for themselves and their families. Thank you very kindly, Angelyn "Karleen" Howe
