First of all I would like to tell about our satisfaction with our experience with the Quixtar business. We have been involved for 14 years. We have attained the platinum level during that time. We found the business information we received when presented the plan was more than adequate to decide if this was a business we would pursue. We knew that this type of business would require serious effort and commitment like any other business does. We also found the opportunity has provided more than just income. Excellent personal development, family time, and mentorship in all areas of business to name a few. As far as the proposed rule changes are concerned, I feel it would be very detrimental to my business to require a seven day waiting period. When we started I wanted to start not be in an holding pattern. Since we have a reasonable cancellation policy I felt no need to have seven days. I feel strongly that a requirement to provide disclosure of past litigation to be an unfair rule that would hurt my business. What someone else did wrong does not mean I would do those things. Nor does it mean someone else should expect those things to be done to them. Providing a list of references would be detrimental in every new area I attempt to build my business. If the new area has few Ibo's from my organization, it could lead to a false assumption that this will not work in that area. It may only mean it has had little exposure. If some of the ten were not in my organization I could not recommend some one whose personal business practices were not know to me. IBO 's are independant contractor's with Quixtar and they have to choose to abide by Quixtar rules. Those who choose not to are dealt with by our legal and ethics committee. Lastly , I believe financial records are a personal matter. The compensation plan we use shows exactly how money is made and the math works every time. We hand out a sa-4400 form to show clearly Income potential if you do the work and move the product. You move the product and the money flows. I have never been offered a profit and loss statement in any other income producing venture I have been involved with. If the profit and Loss statement was the acid test, would we not need a new government? I applaud your desire to protect the consumer from fraud. I knew if I did not succeed in the Quixtar enterprise, it would truly be my fault no one elses. We are very excited and pleased with our business experiences. In fact It has been better than presented.
