To Whom It May Concern at The FTC, I would like to start out by thanking the FTC for regulating all business functions and I believe that some rules would greatly benefit both parties involved, however I first want to start out by saying that my experience with the Quixtar model has been amazing for my family and myself! We got registered in business on April 7, 2005! We (my wife and myself), have been so blessed by this business and the team it provided us to work with! My wife is 22 years old and through this business oppurtunity she will not have to work very much longer! I was a cold contact in a retail establishment, and was invited to come to an Open Meeting, where we were kindly shown the business model! We were not guarenteed anything except that we could chose to follow certain steps that could allow us to generate a comfortable income if we chose to! The speaker talked about what the averages were, but I have never wanted to be just average, and looked at the numbers presented as a challenge! I had been looking for quite sometime for an oppurtunity where I could decide how successful we would become! The team gave us, free to us, handout material that thoroughly described the business model, and introduced us to 35 other independant business owners or IBO's that I could ask all the questions i wanted to! I was asked to set up a time to ask other questions at a later time, and we met again four times! The team supplied me with all the answers and I even called Quixtar several times to find out answers! I was very impressed, and purchased my IBO number! We have been in business now for over a year and again couldn't be happier! We love the free enterprise system and have helped family and friends start their own successful business the same way we were started! We were told over and over that this wasn't a get rich quick and it would involve persistant hard work, but all I needed to know was that it was possible and I would chose to Win--and We Are! We register all IBO's the same way we were started with all the information and time to make them understand what they would have to do to make it in their own Quixtar Business! All IBO's spend 180.00 and understand they have 6 months to get their money back minus the bundle of energy pack unless they send that back to the cooperation! Some goals we have met this past year are, my wife and myself both work part-time jobs, and are excited to be job free and start our family! Our next goals include reaching the Diamond level and being a positive leader in this field using Quixtar's Business model as our vehicle! Some benefits we have received other than income include: positvie, christian friendships, and people that are willing to assist us in having a great marriage! I am a veteran of the Iraq war and have never seen so many great people team up to help others, and that is Amazing! The seven day waiting period would not benefit our business and would cost all involved money as most people that have made up their mind, want to get going right away! We don't pressure prospects anyway! Providing references isn't needed as they all have access to several local IBO's at the Open meetings and are encouraged to ask them all questions! The litigations would greatly hinder our business and our income as most would assume the worst even if the case had no bearing on our specific team or the way we conduct business! We provide the same plan and information that was explained to us, and I would not ask for their personal information when I was looking at the business model, however the average monthly gross income is printed on our handouts to every prospect and is available on the Quixtar website! My personal information is My personal information, I have never seen a business give that information out to anyone, and this would greatly hurt our business as most people feel protective about this information and rightly so! It is equal for all!
