I agree there needs to be some guidelines with the home based businesses. I believe that the proposals outlined would hurt my business. When I do a plan to show a perspective new person, it is part of the plan, that income is based on an individuals effort and time put into the business. They are told that this is not a get rich quick scheme. They are also told that this is not a pyramid. That a person at the bottom of a line could make more than the sponsor based on the individual's effort and time. This is a very individualized business. What you put into it, is what you get out of it. I also do not feel it is appropriate that I would need to show my personal financial records to prove what I am doing. It is not anyone's business what I make. The plan explains about the numbers. It then becomes a personal issue of what the perspective member wants to do. The great thing about this business is that if a new person is unhappy or not satisfied, they can quit and get their money back. Even if someone is unhappy with the product, money is returned. I know because I have returned an item. New people are given an unusally amount of material to look at, listen to and read about. If there are still questions, they will be answered immediately. We welcome people to ask questions and to be skeptical. We ask that they check it out. I do not want to have give my name & other info out to everyone just for reference. There are too many different people out there. By attendintg different meetings people will meet other IBO's to ask questions about. My privacy should be respected. I hope this helps. Yes, I believe there should be quidelines, but not the overpowering of personal privacy. Like we say, check us out, see what we are all about. We have nothing to hide.
