Erlene or Al Falsken  Federal Trade Commission Office of the Secretary Room 11-135 (AnnexW) 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NM Washington, DC 20580 RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 Being retirees, we need to supplement our Social Security in order to live. We feel this Rule in its present form would destroy us. We have currently been Independent Xango ™ Distributors for 2 ½ years. We have acquired members in several countries, which (we think) we could not have done under the proposed rules changes. How could we meet, while traveling, and wait a waiting period to sign them up. Most would think there is something wrong with this Company, us, or it’s product (which is a fruit juice that many of us get relief from various ailments). We buy TV’s, Cars and etc. No waiting. No names and addresses of owners so that we can check them out. Members join Xango for $35 which gets them entered on computer, gets them a payroll department, shipping department, training and it allows them to order wholesale, share the benefits health and wealth wise in more that 14 countries (there are no exclusive areas, not to be confused by franchises). Everyone has a different core of friends and acquaintances. Next door neighbors will not step on each other’s core of influence. Should someone wish a refund of their initial order, it is done! By revealing all members in any area would leave many seniors and women at jeopardy to any unscrupulous persons like rapist, scam artists, racists and identity theft, etc. Just think of all the paperwork and the thought of law suits as the result of inadvertently non-disclosure of a local area person or not waiting the prescribed length of time. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. Who does the oversight and pays for all of this paperwork? Small businesses like ours cannot survive. We have been scammed on internet and through the mail as a result of our minor successes at this business, but see no protection proposed for these actions. While we think it is quite noble on the part of FTC to protect us, we think going after the crooks among us would be far more noble. We are a legitimate people business. We are taxpaying American Citizens who only wish to be able to run our simple business without all the proposed changes. Help us do that! Sincerely Erlene or Al Falsken
