I have been a Leader with Partylite Gifts for the past 11 years. I began as a Consultant in 1995 while working a full time job in Corporate America. Partylite allowed me the dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur. It allowed me the privilege of achieving the American Dream of owning my own home and as a single parent, being able to afford private school for my daughter. I offer the Partylite opportunity to others because I believe in the strong Partylite ethics and sense of community. As a Leader with Partylite, I know that I am in business for myself but never by myself. The seven day waiting period, in my opinion will hurt my business tremendously. It casts direct sellers in a negative light, creates record keeping and administrative challenges, penalizes people from starting their business when they are ready. I totally understand and appreciate your goals and feel that it will negatively impact legitimate businesses like Partylite. I currently work full time as a Leader with Partylite and do not wish to go back to a traditional corporate job. I hope you consider my request as my intention with my Partylite business is to help as many people as I can get what they need just like someone helped me get started with this amazing, ethical company.
