Deborah Platt Majoras, Chairman Federal Trade Commission/Office of the Secretary 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Room H-135 (Annex W) Washington, DC 20580 RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 Dear Chairman Majoras: I am writing this letter because I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe that in its present form, it could prevent me from continuing as a successful XanGo Independent Distributor. It could devastate my small business as well as hundreds of other XanGo distributors. Some of the sections in the proposed rule would make it hard or almost impossible for me to sell my XanGo product. If the present rules were to be changed, sharing this incredible opportunity with other families would be most difficult if not impossible. The purposed seven-day-waiting period for enrolling a new XanGo distributor will give the public the idea that there's something wrong with XanGo’s business plan as well as reflecting badly on me. XanGo already has a 90% buyback policy for all products including sales kits purchased by a salesperson. In addition, XanGo has a 30-day 100% money back guarantee on the product for all new Distributors. The new enrollee does not even have to send any product back to the company to receive this 100% product refund. People love this product and want to get started sharing it with others right away. The above proposed change would create a hardship for all the families involved. They would not be able to get paid in a timely manner and, therefore, would prevent the efficiency of the compensation plan. Finally, the proposed rule requires the disclosure of a minimum of 10 prior purchasers nearest to the prospective purchaser. I am glad to provide references, but in this day of identity theft, I am very uncomfortable giving out personal information to strangers without the approval of the individuals concerned. Please help me to retain the right to operate my XanGo business and continue to help my friends and family as well. XanGo is a family oriented Company that cares about its distributors. Please do not penalize XanGo and the XanGo distributors for the bad apples that have taken advantage of good American Citizens. Yours Truly, Wanda McMurray XanGo Independent Distributor
