I would like to see a level playing field by requiring clear, simple and standardized income disclosures that apply to all direct sellers.I want a reasonable cancellation policy. I do not want a requirement of a seven-day waiting period b/4 a prospect can register. Do not require IBO references to be provided to prospects or disclosure of past litigation. Do not require financial records to be disclosed to prospect. This business is a source of income to our household that helps us to suppliment our income. If we choose to make more we can. It is completely legitament. We are glad we did not have to wait 7 days to start. It was important to us to get started as soon as we saw it, because we were very exvcited at that time and wanted to get gouing. The rules in this proposal takes away from the level starting field. The company we work with teaches and continues to encourage us to teach the importance of operating with integrity. Being honest about the time and investment it takes to build this business. This proposal would hurt the average person who does not have credibility yet developed in this business (especially the new person) and would make the business harder for them to build. Why would you want to hurt the American family today when most need another avenue of income to succeed. Two incomes can't hardly cut it today and with this the wife/mother can be home with the children and if they want, this business CAN and DOES bring home the father. There is a sucessful person somewhere on the team that can help and assist the person with lack of experience and there is no gain in falsafying the information. The person at the top can be passed by the person at the bottom and make more income, also the person at the top doesn't make any profit unless he/she helps the ones at the bottom make $. The one at the bottom will make more $ than the person helping them. SO you don't make money unless you help someone else make $. If you need to protect people, I would suggest that you act quicker on the illgal marketing businesses and stop them from starting. Set up an agency where they have to register and be evaluated before they can actually begin marketing and recruiting. Our parent company Quixtar has already passed that test. You already have regulated these issues with our company and this proposal would hurt us very much. Thank you Mary Mercer
