Please discontinue this new rule. It will kill the opportunities for many people. It will greatly affect the economy. I understand the need to protect the public from fraud and there should be other avenues to do so like enforcing to catch them. Now the legitimate and honest companies like Ecoquest International will be affected. Waiting 7 days to sign the contract will harm the industry. This will greatly decrease the opportunity for the upcoming entrepreneurs. We only sign-up our warm market, our friends and families, thus the need to wait is not needed. Normally, they would sign-up on the same day. Besides, making them wait kills their excitement to join. As for the giving their name, address, and phone number is a privacy issue. People do not want their information given out to strangers thus making them do not want to sign-up for the business. Lastly, providing any adverse information about the company defeats the purpose of being positive about the business. For example, how can you sell a car if you tell them that 100 people died of accidents in that particular car? All these information are public and are available in the internet. My clients are intelligent enough to research and they do so if they want to. Some of my clients do research after they sign-up for the business. Bottomline is, please do not punish everyone just because some are bad. If you have five kids, you would not ground everyone because one kid did a bad thing.
