To whom it may concern; My husband and I have been involved with Quixtar (and the catalog company that preceeded it) for 8 years. Everything about our experience with this company has been positive, productive, fulfilling and extremely above board. When we choose to take advantage of the business opportunity we were given plenty of information about average income and the amount of work required to reach various levels of financial reward. As a matter of fact, I asked if I could write the $100 dollar check at our second meeting and the person who came with the friend we joined the business with would not even take the check until we came to meet more of the team a few days later. We have sponsored people who took time to get started because they wanted to process all the information we were sharing with them. Others knew what they wanted and asked to start immediatlyl At every business meeting we attend, the speaker always points out that the Quixtar business opportunity is not a "get rich quick" plan, that hard work is required, and that there are no guarantees of success? There may be cases where a new person is very excited and they are talking to a best friend and they give minimal information (due to their newness) but from that point on the mentors on the team are certain to point out that work is required. We are taught to present the opportunity, not sell it. When a prospect is "sold" they often do not stick w. this business and then the person who is trying to teach them ends up wasting their valuable time. Additionally, Quixtar is a no risk opportunity because there is a money back guarentee. Please consider carefully the decision to over regulate a legitamate business while trying to protect people from illegitamate schemes and frauds. Requing a delay before registering and too much "red tape" will unfairly handicap a business opportunity that consistantly impacts people and their families in a very positive way unlike anything else I have ever seen anywhere. Thank you for being willing to consider input. Kathy Eckert
