I am writing these comments because I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. First let me say, I am thankful that the FTC wants to protect me and other consumers. I could list point by point my concerns about Rule R511993; however, I will focus on my main concerns: the seven day waiting period and the added regulation 7 Day Wait Period We live in a I want it yesterday world. Often people do not buy at all if they have to wait much longer than one-two days. Most grocery tabs run $150-200 per week so it seems people can decide whether to join a business that costs less than $500 without wait period. Added Regulation In a time when everyone is too busy, we need to free up people to work their business, not weigh them down with more regulations. I have been an Independent Longaberger Home Consultant for more than 14 plus years. I became a Longaberger Home Consultant because I had never come in contact with such incredible hand made products; later I realized that I could have my own business. I'm sure I would not have wanted to wait seven days once I decided! Thank you for taking the time to consider my comments. Helen Crowe Independent National Sales Leader
