I am pleased to comment on the following items and make no reservations about them. I have been an IBO for 7 years. When I was presented with this opportunity I, like everyone, was a little skeptical since there are a number scams out there. I asked questions and read the literature that was provided to me. I feel that the information given to me was enough to make an informed decision for myself and my family. I fully understand why this topic has come to light due to there being so many dishonest people out there. I will say that I have not met all of the monetary goals that I have wanted to but I take full responsibility for not putting in the effort necessary. I will hit the goals that I have for this business and intend to make certain that the integrity of what we are trying to help people accomplish remains true. Besides the monetary rewards of this business I cannot emphasize the other benefits that I have learned as well. I have pushed myself to be a better person, husband, father, role model, leader, patriot, and spiritual follower than I would have been if I had not been presented with this opportunity. Even if I never made a dime I would still be involved and forever grateful for what this has done for me on a personal level. This education you will not find in any university that you can attend but it is exactly what needs to be taught to every person in this country and for that matter around the world. I have reviewed the current proposal and find some items that I believe need to be discussed. I believe that a mandatory 7 day waiting period would be very counterproductive and potentially threaten ligitimate FREE ENTERPRISE as we know it. IBO's are very well trained to make certain that each candidate has the necessary information to make an educated decision. I believe that this type of restriction would have the opposite effect and make people question why they have to wait 7 days to be a part of something great. Not to mention lost revenue due to such restrictions. I also wanted to talk about having to provide 10 references to potential IBOs. Again, I feel that this would drastically limit our ability to build our teams effectively and again delay or lose potential revenue. We currently have a system in place where each new IBO is introduced to the people directly on their team because it is important for them to know who they will be working with to build their business. In addition, we would be forced to get consent forms from every IBO to maintain current privacy regulations which would again limit our ability to build a strong organization quickly. A third point is in providing a litigation list to all potential team members. When you go to a store to buy something they dont hand you litigation from the past ten years so you can make an informed decision about that particular store. I strongly believe that this would not accurately represent the Quixtar company or any company for that matter due to the fact that we are in a litigation society. Fourthly, our company currently provides very detailed earning disclosures for all potential team members. I think that requiring more disclosure for every example would confuse rather than to inform the candidate. Lastly, I am totally against disclosing my Quixtar income to potential team members. Due to MY lack of effort or MY much effort I could potential discourage someone from achieving their goals. Not everyone will have the same confidence level when they first see our business. Plus, you dont see the personal financials of your boss when you apply for a job so why should this be any different? In closing, perhaps the best solution for this is for any direct selling company to submit their application to the FTC and once the FTC reviews all of the content provided to them they can simply say: FTC APPROVED. Therefore, all people actively looking at a potential opportunity can feel confident that it has been reviewed and approved. Thanks for your time
