I have been involved with Quixtar since its inception in 1999. Prior to that I was an Amway distributor since November of 1981. I have been full time for the last 20 years and have reached the Executive Diamond Level. My experience is extensive. I work the business with my wife of 34 years and we run our company from our home. When I show the business to people, they receive all the information necessary to make an educated decision about this opportunity, just as I received it 25 years ago. Any "waiting period" would cripple the momentum and enthusiasm created at the beginning of the business relationship. This business sample was created almost 50 years ago and has worked just fine without the additional complications of a waiting period. --- People that join this business that decide (later) that it is not for them, receive their money back immediately. No questions asked and this has worked just fine (in our case) for 25 years. I have no interest "showing" my business interest and/or "my income" to anyone, just as no other business person would ever show "their" income and/or personal information to ANYONE about their "personal life and/or personal incomes". Why should we be required to do such a thing.. it would be a massive invasion of my privacy. Every IBO that I sponsor personally is a "personal associate" and NOT associated with anyone else that I may have associated myself with in the past.. my associates is a personal matter to me only and is not the business of any other associate I may have. The example would be owning more than one franchise and separating "managers" of different franchises so that proper management techniques could be applied in separate establishments depending on the circumstances experienced in different locales. In my business I "sell products" to retail customers and I "sponsor" others to do what I do if their interest is positive. For the last 25 years I have made a living doing this and can attest to the fact (and so can Quixtar) that my "negatives" have been MINIMAL to NIL. Another words, their is no reason to REPAIR something that IS NOT BROKEN. Please DO NOT change anything about our industry. Quixtar and its leadership are more than able and willing to work with the FTC in any area of our business that needs monitoring and/or evaluating. Thank you for your attention to this and without anything further to add, I remain respectfully yours; Louis and Kathy Carrillo
