Since the FTC obviously is interested in peoples well being, I applaud their efforts. I do believe however that they are truly misguided. The reason I feel this way are two reasons: 1) The cost of involvement is minimal. Not much more that going to a first run movie. Definatley less than going to a concert. 2) The Quixtar corporation allows for someone to return their materials and get a full refund. Therefore, there is absolutely no risk. Further, income claims are already backed up with the SA 4400. Everyone who sees the plan has the opportunity to read this when they do the sign up as part of that process. There is no way that there can be any type of misleading info.
