Dear Federal Trade Commission Member: I am writing to ask you to reconsider the requirements you are proposing to regulate the Direct Sales industry. I am a PartyLite Consultants who has been with PL for 16 years. The proposals that you are suggesting would make my business diffucult to say the least. If your proposal goes through the way in which I do my business would change drastically. I LOVE what I do, and sharing the opportunity about PL has allowed me to grow more confident as a businesswoman. This would stop should this regulation become the law. This regulations would not allow us to do our business in the professional manner in which we have done for the past 16 years. Many, many things would change - and NOT for the better! Typically I feel as though the FTC has worked hard to protect the average consumer, however if these regulations go through it will have adverse affect on all of us. This will affect my income, my future and my family's livelihood. I'm asking that you reconsider the regulations you are proposing for the Direct Selling Industry. Sincerely, Diane Kelley, SRVP Pinnacle Region PartyLite Gifts.
