I can appreciate that the FTC wants to make sure the general public isn't forced into becoming a part of any scams, but this idea will hurt people in the long run. Requiring people to wait 7 days to join our company would put a hamper on the way we conduct our business. We thrive on people's excitement and desire to start making money right away and it is possible. If people have to wait a week, they will lose interest and it will delay our shows being sent in for processing. Partylite has been in business for over 30 years so you know we are a legitimate company. Also proposed is requiring 10 references. Most of the people who are involved in Partylite do so by themselves without any outside help or interaction. I don't even think I could tell you the names and details of 10 people who are current active Partylite Consultants. Also I think it is invasion of privacy to expect that we have to hand out detailed information to people about other consultants. Then anyone could say they want to be a consultant and get the names and information of 10 other people. Doesn't sound very safe to me. So please rethink this decision as it really isn't necessary or beneficial for businesses like ours. Thank you
