Comments:
I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. For twenty five years in the direct selling industry, I have conducted business in a fair and equitable way, and have an organization of over 800 people. Many are with me over 16 years! The future of my business is dependent on stability in the direct selling industry. I do not charge anyone for joining my business. Why should I make them wait 7 days before being able to go to work? It is unfair to the person you are trying to protect. They have the right to persue happiness and to enjoy the fruits of their labor. This law makes them have to wait a week before starting. Why would a time period of any length make the business opportunity better or worse? Delay will not accomplish anything positive. Conversely, it will cast a pall upon a legitimate business. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.
