Dear FTC Officials: I was gravely concerned today as I read of your new legislation, the Business Opportunity Rule. As a small business person, I scramble just to make ends meet. I live in an economically depressed area and many months am pulling from savings just to meet the bills to keep my family housed, clothed and fed. In my business, I'm sales, production, book-keeping, marketing and customer service for my business. These new rules add to my already heavy work load in an area I already feel overloaded. More forms, restrictions and reporting will serve to diminish my business opportunties and the time I have available to conduct business. Please reconsider this new rule and think of the small business person in this country today. We're doing the best we can, hoping to prosper, and really don't need you to make push that goal of prosperity even further away. Thanks for your consideration.
