As a part-time direct selling representative - I must maximize my time selling my jewelry line; recruiting is a secondary objective because I only work to attract team members who intend to sell the product. However, the proposed ruling poses undue restrictions on my ability to recruit viable candidates. In particular, in the age of privacy, most people don't want their personal contact information out there for us to broadcast to potential recruits. That equates to asking a Fortune 500 to produce a referencable list of clients with their contact information to every potential client even before they are qualifed. In most cases, clients are selective in how many references they will provide. Asking lia sophia representatives to reproduce and supply documents on legal actions against the company is time consuming and a needless waste of paper. Do doctors and lawyers have to present this before representing clients? Do hospitals? It seems like small business is under attack and the sins of a few are being across the board unduly attached to all. I have only about 10 - 15 hours per week to work my lia sophia business. I work full time. Eventually, I hope to transition to full time lia sophia -- but with these unneccessary regulations, that would seriously jeopardize my abilities. Lia sophia provides tremendous opportunities to women (or men if they choose), a wonderful and guaranteed backed product (I have activated the money back and replacement guarantees on more than one occasion without issue and with impeccable customer service) and enables families to live above the poverty line while reducing overall childcare expense and spend quality time raising their kids instead of pushing them into the childcare circles. Stop this bill for enactment and rethink what you are trying to do. Regards, Julie Steitz
