Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing to you in regards to what new rules and regulations you are trying to put through with direct selling companies. I have been in direct sells going on 13 years. Never have I had problems with any of my recruits or with the businesses guidelines. What you are asking us to do will cripple our business. If direct selling is having such a problem with the issues you are trying to correct, how come this is the largest type of business in this country? And you should respectfully know that it is growing at a fast rate. This type of business gives women of all cultures a chance to better themselves, help in their families lifestyles(spending more time with them being the most important), and achieving the American dream that so many still desire to obtain in their lifetime. Why does the government need to put more unecessary guidelines on a flourishing type of business? These guidelines you are about to propose will cripple my business. I enjoy this job I have and am making good money. You will be crushing my american dream by implementing these new guidelines. Recruiting is my passion. This company can help so many women achieve great things. Your seven day waiting period will stop the recruiting process and we also have a 90% buyback policy. People buy large ticket items for much more money such as cars, TV's, etc. and don't have to wait 7 days to get them. This 7 day plan will give the wrong impression that there might be something wrong with the company or the compensation plan. This will also cause all Advisors including myself unnecessary paperwork to continually fill out and take up my time. Please reconsider these guidelines and revoke them or you will be crushing a business that helps the families and individuals of all walks of life. Thank you for your time in reading my comments. Respectfully, Wendy Thibault
