I have been a Quixtar IBO for the past 15 months. I have not only seen great improvements of my social skills but also of those in my group. The Quixtar opportunity is able to fit in a multitude of lifestyles from the single mother looking for an extra couple of dollars to the very ambitious in any walk of life looking to change their lifestyle completely. I personally have seen my friends and associates develop large organizations and some have seen drastic improvements in their marriages from learning to work together for a common goal, thats pretty cool. When I registered as an IBO I was given the opportunity to ask any questions I had and recieved ample literature to answer quesitions I hadn't even thought of yet. All of our prospects are given the same information when the opportunity is presented. When I share this opportunity with people it is emphasized that this is NOT a "get rich quick scheme" and it will take effort on their part to see their dreams and goals realized. They are also given the documents approved by you the FTC, the SA-4400 which outlines what this business is about. When starting a new IBO, they will spend typically about $140.00 on registration which includes tax and an optional sample product pack. Quixtar offers a 180 day 100% money back guarantee on all of their products. I personally feel that the seven day waiting period would be a great hinderence for those of us spending our time and money to help the new people. This could get very expensive in the form of travel, lodging and foods to set up meeting after meeting with nothing stopping the new person with the exception of the 7 day rule. This would also delay the new person from actually building there business quickly with such as there friends and families because each one of these new folks would have to wait. This would also be a very big negative to the new person Not a positive. As far as the reference portion of your proposal, I personally as an IBO work very hard to develope the group that I have and by requiring references this would allow the person that I had spent time, energy and money in the form of travel to find. It would allow someone else to try and sponsor this person out from under me, the person who did the work, this would not be a positive thing to deal with. We do however encourage the new people to come to several meetings and check out the association of the people that will be helping them prior to getting involved. The litigation list of past accusations or allegations would cause serious question in a new persons eyes as to whether or not this is a legal business or if it works. If this proposed Litigation List was enacted and if we needed to list all of the cases and the entire line of sponsorship. Due to the size of some of these organizations there are tens of thousands of people in these organizations which would be included and wouldn't even involve them. All of the earning disclosures are currently listed on the SA-4400 document supplied by Quixtar. Such as average monthly income per IBO, average income at certain levels along the way to whatever there goal may be. I don't believe personally that any other documentation is required here and if we were required to make a seperate disclosure for every example I think most people would not be able to understand what is being asked of them or how to do it. All of the financial substanation for our personal income I believe is a private matter. As long as we have documentation that shows guideline minimums of what can be made and it is approved by the FTC (SA-4400) it should be adequate but I don't feel that each person should have to divolge their personal finaces to just anyone unless its requested by the FTC or other government agency. I really don't feel that this would be an appropriate act for anyone just because everyones situation and income is going to vary. Thank you for your time, Kristopher C Zimmerman
