Dear (FTC): I am writing this letter because I am concerning about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe that in its presented form, it will prevent me from continuing as a Distributor with XanGo, and destroy my home based business. I have been involved with Network Marketing for 4 years now and I have never heard of the seven days period with the other companies. This can and probably will ruine my business as a XanGo distributor. The waiting period will give the public the idea of thinking that there may be something wrong with the product and reflects badly on me and my business. I also think this seven-day waiting period is totally unnecessary; because XanGo already has a 100% buyback policy for its single product, why need the seven days!!! People buy stuff on television items that cost much more than $35.00 and they don't even have to wait seven-days. I agree with this statement from one of my uplines below: "Finally, the proposed rule requires the disclosure of a minimum of 10 prior purchasers nearest to the prospective purchaser. I am glad to provide references, but in this day of identity theft, I am very uncomfortable giving out the personal information of individuals (without their approval) to strangers. Women in my organization may be subject to sexual or racial harassment so this part can’t go in at all, unless the FTC passes an addition to this rule prohibiting sexual or racial attacks related to this disclosure. In the end the rule must bind the FTC to take direct enforcement action on sexual and racial attacks with a special unit assigned to monitor actions related to the disclosure forms". I am a good honest American citizen and it will hurt me tremendously. Please take this letter into a deep consideration. Put yourself in my shoes and see how you would feel, if your only income is coming from working at home for XanGo as a distributor. Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.
