My Wife and I have been IBOs for almost 8 years now. We are Platinums and have a Goal of reaching the Emerald level within next 12 months. We enjoy building the business because it not only helps us make additional income, but has helped us in a lot of different areas in our personal lives. We also love dealing & working with people while helping them achieve their goals. We think this business is great for anyone because it also helps people elevate their self- image and build leadership qualities and people skills. Developing these qualities, in fact has helped me at my job too. My wife works part-time because of the income that we generate through Quixtar and we are grateful for that because she has some health challenges and it would be very difficult for her to work at a job full time. The Positive attitude from all the people in the Quixtar business has helped her health a great deal. We have great sponsors who have always helped us and guided us and have always had our best interest in their hearts. We are very grateful to them for believing in us. When we introduce people to this business, we make sure that they are given enough information to make an educated decision whether to build the Quixtar business or not. This is very important because once they have all the information they need, they get excited and they trust us which is very important for a healthy business relationship. When we get a new IBO started, we let them know that this is not a “get-rich-quick” scheme and that it takes work. We sit down with them and explain to them about what kind of work it will take, how many plans they will need to show, etc. in order to build a successful business. We believe that there is no point in getting someone started in the Quixtar business if they are not excited and serious about building it. We also show them catalogs, etc at the time of the plan so that they know what kind of products we have, prices, etc. When someone registers as an IBO, the basic registration with the Publication Pack is about $60. If they wish to sign up with an optional product pack, the registration is between $130 and $180 depending on which product pack they choose. If in the next 90 days, they decide that they do not wish to build the business, all they need to do is give Quixtar a call and they will get all their money back (including the money they spent for the products and even if they have used the products)!!!! We do not like the idea of Prospect having to wait 7 days before registering. When people get started, they are usually very excited and they like to talk to their friends right away, they want to sponsor people & want to order products right away. And when they are IBOs, they might get frustrated by the fact that they have to wait for 7 days before they can sponsor their friends. We also are not excited that before we register someone, we might have to give them areference list of other IBOs. I feel that I do not feel comfortable knowing that other IBO’s prospects- who I don’t know, are getting my info, address, phone number, etc. I think this will create confusion, complication and invasion of privacy. We usually invite our prospects to our weekly hotel-meeting before they get registered. Here, they get a chance to meet with other IBOs & ask questions to them without knowing their address, phone number & other personal information. Once they see the plan, we lend them an “Information pack”. This includes the SA 4400 brochure, and some CDs. I also feel that we shouldn't have to disclose our income to every person that we show the plan to. It doesn’t happen at any job or any other business. That info.is personal. We however do not mislead people by making false income claims, etc because that would be dishonest and we do not believe in starting any business relationship based on dishonesty. We believe in “As you sow, so you reap” and when we are honest and open with people, they behave with us in similarly.
