Re: Proposed FTC Business Opportunity Rule, 16 CFR Part 437 This proposal demands a rethink. The logic seems to be similar to anti-gun proposals in that the very ones you are trying to regulate/restrict are the ones who will not pay attention to your rules. The only ones to carry the burden of the rules are those who do not need the rules. It is time we stop imposing this kind of rule/legislation on the majority who are doing it "right". There are other serious concerns, such as violations of the privacy of those currently engaged in the subject activity. What happened to the concept that OUR government (of the people, remember?) had a duty to provide a "friendly environment" for busines, and should only step in to harness those who were not doing it "right" (e.g. stealing, defrauding, etc.)?
