I Gregory Thompson who in regards to the Quixtar business is against the following "THE PROPOSED RULE": 1. Wait 7 days before registration. Comment: The prospect should have their own choices of when they would want to get registered. And if they wish to decide to refund their membership then they could do so in a timely fashion. 2. 10 References within 7 days to get registered. Comment: I DO NOT AGREE with this "10 References to register before 7 days. Quixtar has put up all disclosures on their website in in print with all the people who succeeded. If a new person like myself who is involved do not wish to give other persons personal information away. 3. You would have to give every prospect a list of all lawsuits, arbitrations, and other legal claims for the past 10 years involving Quixtar and its IBOs where the plaintiff alleged fraud, misrepresentation, or unfair trade practices – regardless of whether or not the accusation was true. Comment: Eliminate the requirement to disclose past litigation. 4. You would have to make a different disclosure for every income claim. Comment: Every income claimed is the right of the IBO whether he or she would want out of their own will to do so. I do not believe it is manditory and I DISAGREE with disclosing what personal or business incomes. 5. You would be required to provide prospects with personal financial documents to back up ("substantiate") any income claim. Comment: IBOs should possess substantiation for any claim but should not be required to disclose it except when required by the FTC and similar state agencies in an agency investigation. THIS I DO AGREE. Additional Comments: I believe this like any other direct marketing business should be simple and easy for anyone who would like an opportunity to be part tof the Free Enterprise System and not be torn down by any political interpretations. I have benefited thru this business and will continue to build this business with values, morals, and laws of the states.
