To Whom it may concern, I think the new proposal is plain and simple: silly. I have been an IBO since Nov. '05 and really do this bussiness on the side. It's hard enough to find people who my be interested enough to even LOOK at what I can offer let alone DO what I offer. I had WAY more than enough time to think about becoming an IBO and when I sponsor people I let them take a good look at it. I suggest to them not to do net research though because it's mostly people who have no idea what they are talking about and poeple who are upset that they did not work hard enough to make money so they blame others, but I can't stop someone from "googleing" Quixtar. We let them know right from the begining that our PLAN is to see substantial money in 2 to 5 years. In no way is it GET RICH QUICK. I see a seven day wait period as a burden. I honestly see no good of it because if a person wants 7 days to do research, then they can on thier own. A 7 day wait IS a 7 year wait and I don't think the FTC is making Mircosoft, or IBM or Halliburton wait 7 years instead of 1 to expand what they can do. Providing references is junk. That's a paper waste and in invasion of other IBO's privacy and it's un-fair to the honset IBOs. It gives un-honest IBOs a chance to steal potential legs. The only good that can come of that is a potential leg can choose someone more goal oriented of the references, but still unfair. Litigation? I wasn't required to see all lawsuits against Arizona's Salt River Project when I decided to represent them as a High Bil Auditer. I don't think any immigrant who wants to come to the U.S. is given a packet of all suits against the U.S. Are they? Earning disclosures are not fair to anyone, that is between me, my signifigant other and the U.S. I wouldn't force anyone to show me thier last voter registration card before I considered them as a friend, bussiness partner nor employee. Money and vote are the 2 most private things to any person and niether should have to be disclosed to any other person. I honestly see this new proposal as weak and as a big burden to any and EVERY IBO. The government would never even DREAM of doing these things to any other big business and nor should it be done to mine or any fellow IBOs big business.Shouldn't people have to educate themselves before they make a desision? You wouldn't ask RELIGION to do this, nor any college nor any other social club.So why do it to this business? You make the entire country make thier own desisions and never regulate thier desisions about anything else, yet with business oportunities you're going to add weight. You're burdening the very freedom our contry is all about if you pass these new rules. Bad move.
