My husband and I have been an IBO for two years. Our goal is to be a successful, independent business providing customer service, quality and satisfaction through affiliate marketing. The Quixtar business allows individuals to continue with any current job while building this business. Our business can be built in our spare time and does not take away from any current employment we hold. Benefits: being able to build this in our spare time is huge! Being able to make our household purchases at wholesale prices saves, and gives monetary payback. Other benefits include showing other individuals other business opportunities which will give them a better lifestyle. This business also gives IBO's the opportunity to be around successful people! What a difference this makes in mindset! At the time we registered we received plenty of information to realize that this business opportunity should not be passed up. Anyone that we sponsor knows up front that this is not a scheme to get rich quick but takes hard work. We also point out that we are willing to help them reach their goal. We also make sure that the individual considering this business knows that there is no guarantee of success. One actually reaps what one puts into it. Most of our prospects typically spend around $75-$150 to register. If any prospect were required to wait seven days before registering, I would assume the majority would reconsider and quite possibly turn down this tremendous opportunity! Most that we register desire to begin immediately with the opportunity to begin saving money on purchases. The business building takes place after this. In corporate America today we do not see where the waiting of the seven day period is beneficial to small business growth. This business is based on volume. Waiting seven days does not allow IBO's to use affiliate marketing with name-brand recognized companies in today's fast-paced, ever-changing economy. WOULD THESE SAME CHANGES THAT YOU ARE PROPOSING FOR THE QUIXTAR BUSINESS ALSO BE IMPOSED ON LARGE CORPORATIONS NATIONWIDE AND WORLDWIDE? IF SO, HOW WOULD THEY RESPOND? If prospects, after registering, were required to wait seven days, volume and income would be lost. If a prospect in another state were considering registering, we would probably not be aware of any other individual in that area. So, how could we provide a list of 10 names? If references were provided, and the prospect registered with one of the references, where would the fairness be? We made the initial contact, but would not profit from the attempted business venture. Privacy is important and no phone #'s or names should be given out without the individual's consent! Many times prospects do meet other IBO's in our group before, during or after registration. This has shown to have a positive influence on our new IBO. They see that they are not alone when building their dreams of being financially independent, debt-free and able to focus on family.
