Comments:

The proposed new law 16 CFR Part 4370, may have good intent, but as it is written, is a violation of free enterprise and is discriminatory If you are going to require a Network Marketing Company to make disclosures like these, then you must do the same for any and all industries that offer business. For example, you must require the same of: Franchises like McDonalds All Business Training Courses that are sold on TV. You would accomplish much more by requiring companies to limit up front costs and offer 100% refunds in the first 60 Days. My company, Extreme Research is a perfect example of what you should model to clean up the MLM industry. We offer both our business opportunities for under $300. We offer a 60 Day 100% money back satisfaction guarantee. If you really want to make a change for the better to our industry, and reduce complaints, put a limit on the amount a company can charge a new distributor in the first 30 days, and require all companies to submit a disclosure statement with the new member kit, and require companies to offer a 60 day 100% satisfaction guarantee in the event the new member returns the full contents of their kit. If you pass the proposed 16 CFR Part 4370, the federal government will violate the spirit of free enterprise, and destroy a great industry. Dr Mike DeBord VP for Extreme Research
