We have been in the Amway / Quixtar business for almost 40 years. It has provided us with an income to raise our 6 children and send them to university and we have been instrumental in assisting many others to do the same thing. We have always operated in an ethical manner and have never tried to " pull the wool" over anyone. We agree than any prospect should have the necessary information to make an informed and intelligent decision about becoming involved in a direct sales or multi-level maketing business and have always followed the guidelines set forth by our affiliated Corporation. We are AGAINST the provisions stated by the FTC proposal that would peanalize those of us who have been working in an honest and effective manner. We know that our contact with so many people has made a wonderful opportunity for some to make financial changes in their lives for the better. We give a lot of people the opportunity. Some respond and work for it and some do not. It is up to them.
