My husband and I have been independent business owners (IBO's)for over 35 years - since Sept.l, l999 in Quixtar and prior to that with her sister company. We are currently reaching to achieve the emerald level as our next goal. Aside from the extra income the business has provided, we have become better parents, grandparents, great grandparents and especially better as husband and wife, due to the awesome mentoring system available to us and the great books, tapes, audio's and functions made available to us. We have seen the benefits of people growing in personal confidence, loyalty to this country, better employees on their jobs and financially able to help themselves, their children and parents as well as charities. We cannot put a price tag on the benefits gained from this business and the ability we now have to help others. We do not guarantee success, as no business can do that - life does not even do that. But we are willing to help people who want to be helped. We do not say it is a "get rich quick" plan. Our prospects who diligently seek sucess in this business would probably invest initially from $200 to $500 depending on their desires. We feel this is a very low amount to start a business. They have l80 days to get that back if they decide to quit. We see no benefits to a 7 day wait period to register, especially if we have traveled l00's or sometimes l,000's of miles to introduce them to this business. If a 7 day waiting period applied to everything people buy or try, in any other business, it would certainly hurt this country's economy because someone's well-intentioned relative or friend would tell them they could not succeed or did not need the item. As to providing a list of local IBO's, unless they were in our group, we would not have access to that information. In many areas, there would not even be l0 local IBO's. Just because one IBO decided to quit or didn't apply any effort to this business, has no bearing on someone else's desires and abilities. We personally would not like to be contacted by many people to ask our opinion, even though it would be fantastic. Besides, Quixtar has a strict code of conduct of no "cross-lining" (talking to pelple in someone else's business) about this business, as that is not directly related to their personal business. Giving our name, address & ph.# to others would violate our privacy and what would keep the inquiree from signing up with someone other than the ones who originally invited them into their business? (stealing prospects). Our prospects are introduced to other people on their team, who would be helping them build their personal business. We give a business brochure (SA4400) to all prospects, stating average gross incomes, which is reearched and printed by Quixtar. Average's is all that would be fair to disclose, What we make personally should be no one else's business. That again is personal information. Law suit disclosures should be handled in the courts as they are the ones equipped to handle situations that can't be settled otherwise and again is a matter of privacy between parties involved and not needed for general public. It has no bearing on someone not involved in that situation. We do not disclose our personal income, but do tell how Quixtar has enriched our lives and lifestyle. We have complete confidence in Quixtar and their board of directors made up of Quixtar officials and independent IBO's elected to handle rules and regulations fairly. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. Harold White
