To Whom it May Concern, It is time to hold Multi Level Marketing companies accountable for their promises and lies. While there are some MLMs that are legitimate and based on product distribution, many are just recruitment scams with nothing to sell but empty promises. I was taken in several year ago by a company called Equinox, who has since been dissolved with charges pressed, and I can't help but ask how it was possible for this company to work so opennly with false claims and deception as its only selling points. This should not have happened to me nor should it be continuing at the absurd rate that it is presently occurring. I have family members who have gotten sucked into another MLM and are currently on a "vacation" that revolves around a 3-day seminar for this MLM company. They are giving away their money to these greedy cowards who are hiding behind the new "God centered" business idea, and it makes me sick that there are currently no requirements for these companies to be honest and up-front from the start. Please don't let the American people have to suffer any more. Make these MLMs legally responsible for their claims with documentation that is accurate from the beginning. We shouldn't have to wait until thousands of dollars have been wasted to find out that the "business opportunity" we were investing in was just a scam to fatten the pockets of a few. Thank you.
