I am writing in response to the proposed rule for private franchising businesses. I truly believe that there should be some regulations. I would suggest that there would be a FTC approved piece of literature for each approved business or a contract that would be signed by the prospect upon their getting involved stating that they are aware and educated on the principles that should apply. Maybe something with the FTC's stamp of approval on it. If a prospect has to wait for 7 days before getting involved, they are apt to loose their excitement and it could cost them and our country thousands of dollars. It could cost far more than money. It could cost the family unit. Also, there are not successful Independent Business Owners in all geographical areas if they were to try and consult with 10 local ones. I think the past should be left in the past. All businesses that amount to anything have had to go through challenges to get there. This is all really about the future and lets keep it looking bright and positive. But lets rid our economic system of the businesses that make faulse claims and decieve our people. Thank you for taking this step to help streamline our Country in a better direction. Kathy Winesburgh
