Your proposed rule changes will virtually end network marketing and one great entrepreneurial opportunity the internet offers. Every business, even franchises, are filled with many more failures than successes, but do you require Jani-King to disclose personal income and bio info and all of the lawsuits and failures in its marketing materials? How about requiring each state lottery commission to disclose how many losers (and even the big winners) have gone BK? In my opinion, the rule changes will kill the hopes and dreams of hard working entrepreneurs. Since the internet has a fail-safe mechanism in place (ie INFORMATION!!!) you can go to GOOGLE and find out anything you want about anyone or anything. You're proposing over-regulation which as you should know only leads to a slowdown in the over-regulated industry as well as creating impenetrable advantages for those at the top of the food chain. Just think: Only the highly successful will be able to meet your rigid standards, and everyone else will have to sell a piece of their hope to the top of this pyramid to gain entry. The food chain becomes impenetrable; the game is now rigged. You will do nothing more than advantage the advantaged, and handicap the rest of the field, and you won't stop any so-called fraud. Try prosecuting all the bad guys instead of killing all the good guys! Please let natural forces and selection determine this new frontier, the vast majority are honest and hard working. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. By the way, I am an active trial lawyer and member of a bar association and several legal associations.
