Hi, I've been an IBO with Quixtar for almost 2 years. I have had a great time with this very legitimate business team. I'm glad the FTC wants to crack down on illegal pyramid schemes and get-rich-quick scams, but I believe with Quixtar's track record, with the information we give a prospect about the business and the numbers with the money back guarantee, some of these new rules should not apply to Quixtar. The proposed rule to wait 7 days. When I saw the plan I was very excited and had the business plan shown to 3 of my friends who also became very excited and got registered that week. They were given the avg. IBO income, the way we make money, they met several dozen other IBOs in a meeting, and they were given an opportunity to get their money back which they were informed of upon registering. None of them wanted to quit though. Waiting a week would have taken away that excitement and allowed the nay-sayers to plant negative seeds into their minds. The requirement to provide a list of 10 IBOs in the area: Every prospect I meet is required to meet with the team at least once in a professional environment, ask questions, and get a feel for the people they will be working with. Giving them a list would be an invasion of other IBOs privacy, and a waste of their time. It would slow growth for the new person as well as the IBO building their business if they were answering the phone all the time. We appreciate your concern with squashing fradulent businesses, but for me when I registered with Quixtar, it cost about $160, over half of that was product, I've never been forced to do or buy anything, but have chosen to because I am serious about my future. Quixtar is an outstanding business opportunity and my association with its IBO's has greatly improved my life, marriage, and attitude as well as financial situation. Please do not implement these rules.
