When you recieve complaints I suppose it is only natural for you to think that you should do something to prevent people from taking advantage of citizens. I am however bother by the continuing trend in government that more regulation will solve all the problems. I am sure you already have rules and regulation in force which can be brought to bear on those who would take advantage of others, the only thing the proposed changes will accomplish is to make business more complicated and difficult for those of us who do operate our business in a legal and ethical manner. In my 20 years with Quixtar and Amway I have only registered one person who changed her mind a couple of days after she registered at which point I promptly showed her how to obtain a refund (in Full) and cancel her membership. She recieved a full refund and I never contacted her again. My personal feeling that it is not your job to protect me or anyone else from making a bad decission. I am responsible for the decissions I make, and for checking out a company before I do business with them. It is your job to put people who do not practice business in an ethical manner out of business, not burden honest business with rules and regulation which will it more difficult to operate.
