To whom it may concern, Hello, I would like to start off by saying thank you to the organizations such as the FTC for setting standards and considering all concerned parties best interests. These standards are what enable legitimate business opportunities to thrive, being able to bank on that credibility of being FTC approved. I have been an I.B.O. (Independent Business Owner) with Quixtar for a little over 3 years now and my wife and I have achieved many financial goals; we have big plans for the future as well. In addition to the monetary rewards received from Quixtar there are countless other benefits we have experienced as well. We have grown personally, spiritually, as well as in our marriage. When we started our business it was made very clear to us that our success was up to us. This was explained verbally as well as in literature we received prior to getting started. We had as much time as we wanted/needed to review this information as well as meet other I.B.O.'s and ask them questions about their experience with the opportunity. It was also made very clear to us that the cost of starting our business (which was less than $250) was fully refundable within the first six months from the time of registration. This removed any risk for us, as well as any concerns. From the beginning we were taught this process of no pressure and meeting people at their specific needs. Why? Because any successful business is based on helping other people ! I feel that we were given an opportunity with as much explanation as we wanted. There was no need for a waiting period, references, personal financial statements, or litigation lists. I strongly believe that these limitations were proposed with good intentions but would seriously slow the growth of our business as well as unnecessarily invade privacy. My finances are kept between my wife and I and are also up to my wife and I, we are responsible adults capable of making our own decisions and for those that aren't, they will be in trouble in any avenue of life anyways! We are part of a first class company, Quixtar. Are there other companies that are a little less than first class? Absolutely. That is why I am glad that we have organizations like the FTC and the BBB. I feel that their constant monitoring and regulations are key to weeding out the "bad seeds" in our economic system! Although in this instance I feel that these proposed regulations are counter productive to successful legitimate businesses. Thanks again. Sincerely, Andrew Hanson
