I have been a Quixtar IBO for 24 years. My experience may differ from most, because, although I have been in this business for that many years, I have never made much money. In fact, considering the travel, functions, seminars, tapes and books in which I've invested money over those years, I've spent more than I've earned. But the reason for this is strictly my own lack of effort. I still listen to the leaders in this business on tapes because they are a strong source of positive encouragement for me in my daily living. These speakers are such an example to me of integrity and optimism that I am probably not even conscious of the many good ways they have affected my life. I still read the recommended books for the same reasons. I purchase and use the products because they are the best on the market, from the deodorant to the vitamins and supplements, to the laundry soaps and cleaners and everything in between. I even sell a few products to family and friends. I spite of my lack of monetary gain from the business, I have never considered that the opportunity was mis-represented in any way. Regarding specific issues: 1. The seven-day waiting period is somewhat moot in our business because for at least 6 months, an IBO can get his money back. 2. Providing references would be an invasion of privacy for the other IBO's and would be confusing to a new prospect. If he wants more information, he is better off going to the Better Business Bureau or a similar organization. 3. With all of the frivilous law suits we have today, having to provide a litigation list would be grossly unfair to Quixtar and it's IBO's. 4. I don't tell people about my income level because I wouldn't want to prejudice them one way or the other. It's the effort that makes it work or not, and no one should base his concept of his own ambition and ability to make this opportunity work for him upon that of someone else's results.
