This 16 CFR Part 437 is completely unessary and will hurt anyone who is honestly trying to make a living or start a business. I am with a True - Honest company, and finally starting to make some money - Now the FTC wants to kill my business - WHY ? Who are you folks ? Is this the USA that I grew up in ? I think that if YOU were to revise your proposal and possibly have MLM/Network Marketing Companies file for an Application to avoid all this Negative Information (especially giving out other people's personal information - to contact)... May be we could get rid of those few bad apples. AND to those who violate, using deciving info then prosecute them - not the whole business model. This is a FREE Country, free trade, free market - when you take away this business (or make specific demands...) then it's not free anymore ! If the FTC wants to attack someone, lets start with the large oil companies - now there's a place of deceptive practices, lies, corruption, need I continue. It makes me mad and sad to see that our own Government thinks it needs to decide and demand how one should opperate a specific business. Many of us are tired of being told how we need to work. We only want a business of our own. We want to make money by the amount of work we put into our new business (with out lies) - we're tired of the 9 - 5, only get a week's vacation a year, told when you can see the doctor or take time off... This is a new era - just like the Internet...Things change, people don't want a boss anymore ! Re-think this !!! People are tired ! If you take away a person's Dreams - what do they have to live for....????? The USA was a Dream at one point - Don't destroy it ! If I cannot have the chance to fullfill my dream - without 20 obstructions ( codes, telling me to tell my new prospect - Not to join - because....a,b,c,d,e,f,g,,,,,) then what the heck am I trying to do with my life - **** My business allows me to Help other people make money the Legal and Ethical way ! **** If the FTC stomps out my business - making it practiacally impossible to conduct business then I may as well just leave - Learn German and move to a lesser evil. Keep People and Business Alive - Don't Pass the Bill It's Wrong ! Remember - for everyone of us who writes in.... there are at least 10 to 20 more who feel the same way. Reconsider ! Don't pass it - keep business alive. Thank you.
