To whom it may concern, Iam writing this letter because I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993.In it presented form it would destroy the small business I have worked very hard to build and operate. It will also affect the people I have introduced to this business in good faith. I am a single woman and this business has made it possible for me to pay my bills and put food on the table. Many families who have worked hard to give their childeren a better and decent life will be affected adversely. I have been operating my home business as an Independent Xango Distributor for about 2 years. I am very proud of the product and the company I represent. Some of the sections in the proposed rule would make it virtually impossible for me to sell my product and operate my Home based Business The proposed waiting period will make people think,that there is something wrong with my product and company.Something has to be wrong if they require you to wait for such a long time. The Xango sales kit costs $35. Every day people buy products like cars,boats,TVs,etc.,that have a real high price tags and they don't have a 7 day waiting period.. No matter what rules are passed crooks will always find a way around them..So far it has never failed. We have to start supporting the GOOD GUYS and not hurt them because of a minority, who will find a way to get away with it anyway. Lawyers will always find loopholes for their clients,whether they are good people or criminals and that is accepted So far history shows that there are no laws or rules that will stop criminals and crooks.And it is a shame to hurt decent people and companies,who are working hard to make this a better place. Also the requirement of the proposed rule to disclose a minimum of 10 prior purchasers nearest to the prospective purchaser is dangerous.I am not comfortable giving out other peoples' information to someone they don't know. I will not give my personal information to someone I don't know. Especially with identity theft on the rise,despite all the rules and laws in place. Unscrupulous crooks won't be stopped by any rule,they just don't care.But decent companies and good people will be hurt. Go after the bad guys,don't hurt the good ones while the bad ones will still keep doing their tricks.
