To whom it may concern, While I agree that the Crooks need to be stopped, your proposed law changes won't do it. It's the same as locks on a door- it only stops the honest person. It's a known fact that around 95% of people trying to start a business will fail! Most won't even get off the ground. Why because they want wealth without work. It's not going to happen. Anybody out there in the world who has wealth and not through it being passed on to them, had to work for it. Most of those who succeed go broke first! But they continue to work their business/dream. To give a stranger personal infomation about either yourself or those in your orginization is, for one, an invasion of privicy. If I wanted to buy shares in a firm listed on the stock market, they don't have to disclose all this infomation to me and tell me to go away for a week before I can invest in their company. You want to invest now. Why? On the chance that their stock prices will go up and I can make money for doing next to nothing! How many firms on the stock exchange are in financial trouble and don't tell anyone until it's too late to try to get your money back. You lose the lot.Millions of people trade every day on the hope that they will get rich quick. They are not required to receive all this infomation that you want to impose onto prospects in MLM ventures.At least with MLM firms, you usually get something for your investment.If you choose not to WORK the business, then you will fail. If you have to tell prospects that they have to wait a week before they can join up, 99% won't come back. Why? Human nature. If I want to buy anything and go to a store and am told that I have to wait a week, I would go else were to buy them/it! These preposals will kill off the honest achievers of today/tomorrow and only the sharks, that don't care about your rules and regulations will still operate. People will get ripped off by these predators as they are today. There won't be any difference for them if you bring a ton of laws into effect. It will only hurt the man/woman next door who is trying to be self sufficient by running their own little business through MLM. They are the only people you will hurt. I urge you to really stop and consider these points. Every ecomomy in every country relies on the little business man. They are the one's who emply most of the country's work force and pay most of the taxes and so forth. Do you really want to stop what is, a large propotion of self employed people from making a wage instead of drawing welfare? Regards Paul Barrow
