I have viewed the proposed bill regarding Business Opportunity Rule and feel the need to voice my concerns for how this present bill is crafted. I am aware that this is being developed to protect the consumer and I agree that consumers need to be protected from potential scams that are out there. I want to, however, express that the bill in it's present form will drastically reduce the ability for legitmate MLM's to do business. MLM is a different kind of business than your average business. It is built around average people like myself who may have never been in business before. Many of us will drop out of the business prior to learning how a business work, or prior to giving the business a chance. Some of the things you are requiring a business to provide to the consumer is the very thing that could stop a good company cold in their tracks. I am sure that this is not the goal the FTC is trying to accomplish in the free enterprise system we have in America. I suggest that bringing in some of the large MLM's that have been around for a while to help craft a sensible bill that would not hurt the industry would be the correct way to achieve the goal. We don't like or want unethical business practices occuring in our industry. After all, most of us are good, law abiding citizens that just want a chance at an opportunity. We realize that there are risk in any business, and for the most part, we are prepared for that. What we don't want is for the industry we have developed to become a place no longer attractive because of unfair government control. Please do what's right. Wayde Fullard
