We've been in the Quixtar business over 15 years. Our decision to become IBO's has been one of the best personal and finanicaly decisions we have ever made. Without the business my wife and I would not have reached the fiancial goals we have met today. My wife would be working fulltime and I would have both a fulltime and a parttime job to maintain our current income and lifestyle. Personally, the success principals have blessed us greatly ,improving our marriage, raising our children and helped us be more successful in our jobs. When we registered into the business, we were given ample information to make an informed decision and did not feel pressured in any way. We provide the same information to our prospects as well. We explain to our prospects that this is not a get rich scheme, that it is a business that requires time and effort just like any business would require to succeed. The cost for new business owners to register is $226.00, which is all totally refundable, if they decide to leave the business. We can see no possible advantage to requiring a seven day waiting period for new prospects to register. They can choose to leave the business at any time if they desire. One of the keys when registering a new IBO is to help them register other IBO's and show then some immediate success . Requiring a 7 day waiting period would hinder their chances of having success and begin generating some income. Requiring references and a litigation list are both unnecessary and would be a major violation of our privacy and very unfair. It poses the risk that they could register with someone else after we have done the work in helping them understand the business. We provide 3-4 meeting per month for new prospects to attend . This gives them ample opportunity to ask questions and meet other IBO's. Providing a litigation list would be unfair and would pose problems for IBO's due to the fact that it may contain filed cases that have no merit whatsoever. Requiring us to provide prospects with our personal financial records showing our income is in violation of our privacy and would not be benefical to the prospect in making a sound business decision. Quixtar provides sufficient information about income earned. We do describe the impact the Quixtar business has made in our personal lives. We are not opposed to regulations to help people avoid getting involved in illegal, unethical business. Some area of reasonable regulations are 1. Guaranteed product line 2. No quotas or forced inventories 3. a low start up fee 4. income are created by selling a product or service. These provide the opportunity for any person to own and operate their own business with minimal financial risk. We hope these comments are helpful and appreciate the opportunity to express our views and concerns as business owners. Sincerely Chris & Debra Adelman Independent Business Owners
